We’re building the best teamwork tool on the market, and we need you to help us do so in an iterative, fast-paced and maintainable way.

In this role at Hive, you’ll work directly with product managers, designers, engineers and the CTO to test and direct features that make being a Hive user delightful. You’ll quickly ramp up on product knowledge, push the limits of the app to be high quality, and help define smooth user experience based on real-world use cases.

We’re looking for someone with a genuine love for finding issues and building tests to prevent those issues in the future. Past that, we're looking for somebody who gets joy out of seeing happy customers.

About you:

• You have 3+ years experience in a similar role in technology industry
• You have experience writing and following test plans
• You're proficient with Git, bash, and systems basics
• You've built from scratch or contributed to end-to-end test suites using Selenium, Webdriver, Cyprus, or a similar technology
• You have solid understanding of web technology
• You are thorough and clear in both verbal and written communication
• You have the right balance between best practices and being pragmatic in your approach to problem solving
• You have an eagerness to always be learning and teaching others

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside developers and designers to verify application functionality and usability
• Review stories in the development pipeline to ensure code changes reflect intended functionality
• Help drive our testing efforts; think about what we can improve and improve it
