Quality Assurance Analyst
Squarespace is looking for an experienced QA Analyst to lead UI/UX testing projects, working closely with product and engineering teams throughout the company as well as QA Tester teams in remote offices. You will oversee the testing strategy of assigned feature changes, support efforts to refine and organize our general testing process and workflow, be involved in automated UI test development, mentor QA Analysts and Testers, create test plans, perform testing for multiple agile teams, and assist other QA analysts in a collaborative environment. We’re looking for customer-focused technical mentors who foster a culture of collaboration in a rapidly evolving agile environment.
You will report to the Senior QA Team Lead and be based in our New York headquarters.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Review requirements and early designs to provide concise, meaningful feedback and time/complexity estimates
- Identify, record, and thoroughly document bugs, user experience issues, and suggested improvements
- Communicate, improve workflows, and strategize testing with product teams
- Coordinate, train, and provide feedback to QA Analysts and Testers across multiple offices
- Identify cases for and write automation scripts
- Assist other QA Analysts
- Review test plans created by other QA Analysts
- Perform and lead QA Testers in many different types of manual testing
- Use advanced testing and troubleshooting tools
- Collaborate with Product Support to communicate advanced knowledge of upcoming changes to advisors and technical writers
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years of experience testing web UX/UI
- Deep understanding of QA processes in an agile environment
- Proficient in test automation through non-GUI methods (Javascript, Selenium, and Git experience is preferred)
- Basic understanding of unit, integration, and API testing
- Experience as a mentor or manager
