About the job

As a QA Associate you will take an active role in helping provide the highest level of quality for our software. You will collaborate with all of our teams in order to deliver products in a timely manner and with the best user experience. 

This position will demand that you are able to triage bugs, prioritize issues, assist in the creation of specs for new projects, document new features, work closely with both engineers and designers to test any new features and so much more. 

The ideal candidate for this position is naturally inquisitive, has the ability to break down complex challenges into simple solutions and can effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical peers. We are looking for a passionate individual to join our team and help SportsRecruits achieve the highest level of quality in our product.

Quality Assurance (QA) Associate Job duties and responsibilities

  • Work directly with our Customer Success team to discover and resolve any issues that our users experience
  • Create fully detailed bug reports 
  • Manually test our website and application across multiple browsers and devices to ensure no regressions
  • Translate technical jargon into easily readable material for a wider audience
  • Work with our product team on new features in order to suggest solutions to problems or help identify possible user experience issues
  • Create test cases for new features
  • Work directly with developers and designers to test new feature releases and ensure they meet specifications

Quality Assurance (QA) Associate Job requirements and qualificationsRequired:

  • Experience in a QA or Customer Service role
  • Ability to triage issues with basic debugging and troubleshooting techniques
  • Experience writing clear, concise and comprehensive documentation
  • Excellent communication and writing skills

Preferred: 

  • Experience working with bug software such as JIRA
  • Experience writing SQL Queries

 

This is a full time position available as remote or in NYC, no freelancers please. Principals only, no recruiters please.
