You're fascinated with large and complex systems. You enjoy identifying and removing performance bottlenecks and making things go faster. You are comfortable working with microseconds, and think nanoseconds are cool. You love building tools that help identify problems.

If that’s you, join us!

Our Team:

We’re the Enterprise Latency and Capacity Management team. Our clients depend on us to build tools that ensure our real-time market distribution products are fast. We build benchmark test tools and troubleshoot production bottlenecks. We’re trusted to find problems before others do. Frequently, we work cross functionally. On any given day we could be collaborating with systems, middleware applications or business teams. For example, the network teams will come to us to review timer values and routing convergence algorithms, ensuring proper interaction with systems and applications. We make things better.

We'll trust you to:

  •  Design and implement tools to measure latency and identify bottlenecks in a global system that includes thousands of servers and routers, pushing market data in real-time at multi-gigabits speeds
  •  Work with development and support teams to analyze large sets of metrics, and to correlate issues to find root causes, and advise on solutions
  •  Perform capacity tests, identify resource limits, and establish monitoring thresholds

You’ll need to have:

A) Deep technical expertise in at least ONE of the following areas:

  •  Unix (Linux/Solaris/AIX) performance tuning
  •  Application Performance tuning using Compilers, profilers and other system tools
  •  TCP/IP protocol level networking, Routing, and Firewall/Load balancer technologies

B) Broad exposure in few of the following areas:

  •  Feeds / Ticker Plant / Market Data Distribution systems
