We are looking for strong technical foundations in data, distributed computing, and software engineering. We take in feedback daily, but simultaneously filter it through our lenses of privacy and security to output the best user experiences for engineers to build decentralized ML models.

As a Federated Machine Learning Engineer, you will be responsible for tackling a wide range of problems from natural language processing, computer vision, to time series and analytical prediction. You will move beyond the theoretical confines of academia and apply your tradecraft to build Federated Machine Learning systems on real-world data. In this role, you will constantly collaborate and work across the organization with multiple teams. Our Federated Machine Learning team is responsible for delivering ML-based solutions from problem framing to prototyping, and through to production applications. 

What You’ll Do

• You’ll be developing cutting-edge systems to provide our clients with a world-class experience, in collaboration with Product, Software, and Engineering teams.
• You will work with real-world data and problem sets.
• Identify, research, prototype, and build predictive products on Devron’s federated platform
• You will build cutting-edge models for understanding vast amounts of textual, visual, and unstructured data
• Write production code
• You will write tests to ensure the robustness and reliability of your productionized models
• You will work closely with software engineers to build incredible systems

What You'll Need:

• You have 5+ years of experience being a major machine learning contributor at a top company, hedge fund, or university
• You have at least one core programming expertise, such as Python (NumPy, SciPy, Pandas), MATLAB, or R
• You have strong research acumen and experiment design skills You have the ability and credibility to lead a team
• You have a stellar ability to communicate even the most complicated methods and results to a broad, often non-technical audience
