Job Description

We’re building a next-generation platform that will allow influencers, artists and digital creators to issue their-own blockchain based currencies. This will align incentives between creators and fans, giving fans additional access while allowing creators to build a functioning fan-driven economy. We don’t require you to have previous experience in the blockchain space but expect you to pick up core concepts quickly and have an intellectual curiosity towards the technology.

Creators will distribute their own blockchain-based currencies to fans and offering unique insights and levels of access to holders of their currency. We are launching with a set of well known partners.

This role will focus on high-performance, user-centered, front-end application engineering. You will be both driving frontend initiatives and rolling up your sleeves to help build out the platform UI with our head of product and lead engineer.

You’ll get to make lots of product decisions that define our roadmap and experience first hand how your work is impacting creators and their fans. We have no problem taking your ideas to the next level right away.

You will work with our multidisciplinary team of business strategists, blockchain developers, crypto-economic thinkers and product managers to establish and meet sprint commitments.

You’ll get to start projects from scratch, design, test, implement, ship it to users, get their direct feedback, and iterate from there.

Some of the questions you'll help us answer:

How do you make creators distributing currency to fans feel as natural and fun as watching a video?

How do you parse useful currency-based insights that encourage activity on the platform for both fans and creators?

How can you integrate all of our data points to make a digital currency creator dashboard that is easy and intuitive to use for our non-technical users?

Skills and requirements: 
- An ideal frontend developer would have 3+ years of experience in building highly scalable and performant UI on web/mobile 
- Sound knowledge of HTML5 and experience with CSS3. You can write code that is efficient, reusable and adheres to best coding practices. You are familiar with preprocessors (Less/SCSS) 
- Strong grasp of Javascript fundamentals. You've written unit tests, integration tests and understand design patterns in JS 
- Solid understanding of at least one of the modern frameworks like ReactJS or Vuejs. You've built responsive web applications with simple and reusable JS components.

Bonus (Nice to have) 
- Experience with graphic design. You can create UI designs in Adobe Photoshop or Sketch
