Senior IGA Engineer (SailPoint Developer)
Company Description
NBCU Cyber IAM Team is currently seeking an IGA developer to join a cyber security organization to support application migrations, new application on-boarding to SailPoint, as well as enhancements or changes to existing applications leveraging the IGA toolset. This person will help support the migration of applications from Oracle Waveset to SailPoint and on-boarding of new applications. The developer must be able to build effective and productive relationships with customers and have strong communication skills. This person must have a solid understanding of core java development and have strong background in J2EE, REST and JDBC as they will be involved in hands on development activities.
Job Description
The Cyber Security Engineer will deliver and maintain large, complex Identity and Governance Administration systems. The individual will leverage leading-edge technology to position the organization for success.
The Cyber Security Engineer will have the following responsibilities:
- Support the design and development of Identity and Access Management solutions for Identity Governance and Administration
- Maintain/sustain the IGA services via vendor and server software updates and patches
- Work closely with IGA Software Architects and IGA Operations to propose solutions and provide strategic technical direction across the IGA team
- Ability to handle assigned tasks with minimal supervision
- Develop and maintain with the Operations team the Standard Operating Processes and Procedures for IGA Operations
- Leverage scripting and/or coding skills to automate processes
- Establishing and reporting actionable and meaningful metrics
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in implementing enterprise Identity Management and security solutions, specifically with SailPoint and IdentityIQ
- Ability to Implement/Customize SailPoint Workflows, Forms, Rules, Provisioning and Certifications
- Strong experience in Java, J2EE, and XML programming languages
- Strong understand and development knowledge of RESTful Web Services and JDBC
- Understanding of how to set up connectors and user access reviews
- Strong communication skills and ability to work with customers and internal development teams
Desired Characteristics:
- Experience working with IAM/IGA products
- Experience with Oracle Waveset/Sun IDM
- Secure scripting/coding experience
- Strong Collaborative Player - collaborates well with cross functional teams to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources such as staff from Crypto Services, Directory Services, Privileged Access management teams as well as application developers and platform admins.
- Ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills - strong problem-solving skills, communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve.
- Change oriented - acively generates process improvements; supports and drives change.
Salary range - $140,000 - $165,000
