We are looking for Senior Node.JS Developer with at least 5 years' professional experience in front-end centric applications, preferably in MEAN stack for development of the next-gen Analytics & Reporting Central solution, including prototyping, development and building out the CI/CD pipeline.

Customer's solution is a secure, centralized, self-service portal for accessing, developing and deploying cutting-edge data, applications, and analytics to foster an insights-driven culture across the entire enterprise.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Make technical design and technical decisions for front-end centric projects
  • Building the APIs in REST, GraphQL communicating with external web services
  • Work closely with other developers, designers, data analysts and business stakeholders to construct, implement and test features
  • Write, develop, analyze, and elevate code that is well structured, with a focus on testability, maintainability, security, and performance
  • Enrich CI/CD pipeline for the project’s tool chain: GitLab, GitLab CI, Quay, OpenShift, Docker
  • Help development teams to improve the CI/CD tool chain

WHAT YOU HAVE

  • A degree in an associated field and/or other advanced certification along with significant experience
  • 5+ years of overall software development experience, with an emphasis on modern web applications
  • Experience with Node.js, NPM package ecosystem, and frameworks available for it, such as Express, Meteor
  • Experience developing web services, utilizing REST and micro services
  • Strong proficiency with JavaScript (ES6) and experience with JavaScript build tools (Browserify, WebPack, Grunt, Gulp)
  • Understanding the nature of asynchronous programming and understanding of network stack such as sockets, HTTP
  • Proficiency in CI/CD (Git, Jenkins, Protractor, Docker) and experience with design, implementation and support of efforts to utilize containers and automate operation processes
  • Experience working with Docker, PostgreSQL, MySQL or MongoDB
  • Understanding design principles behind a scalable application
  • Knowledge of GNU/Linux operating system
  • Excellent communication skills
  • English (B2+ level or above) is required, both verbal and writing

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with CI/CD on RedHat Openshift, DevOps, and / or AWS
  • Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React or Ember, along with the knowledge of when to use them
  • Experience building rich data-driven web applications
  • Experience with Agile software engineering practices, particularly Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, and Automated Testing
  • Familiar emerging trends in desktop, web, and mobile app development
  • Familiarity with Oracle DB
