Our services division, RubensteinTech, is seeking an experienced senior software engineer to enhance and extend our enterprise content marketing platform while implementing complex websites and applications in JavaScript, React, and Node.js.

Overview

Successful candidates have a strong foundation in modern software languages and are able to effectively manage time and responsibilities within a deadline-driven environment. In addition to a passion for coding, they are expected to be motivated to continue their own learning and professional development.

Technical Skills & Requirements

Individuals should have expert-level skills in the following software languages and platforms:

--Node.js
--React
--Redux

Candidates should also have experience with any Domain Specific Language (DSL) and, although not required, experience with at least two other programming languages beyond an academic setting and with at least two different datastore technologies (e.g., MongoDB and Postgres preferred).

Engineering, Computer Science, or related bachelor’s degree is required. Successful candidates may also have a Master of Engineering or Master of Science degree, with 3-5 years’ professional experience in a related field.

Having an understanding of programming language design theory, knowing the difference between different generations of languages, delineating between functional programming types (e.g., Lisp v. Haskell), and being grounded in application design (e.g., thin client v. thick client) is recommended.
