Senior Software Engineer - Applications

Design and develop software for 3D printers that are changing the way people work and create. We are looking for software engineers who are interested in working on complex cloud solutions, and have extensive experience in javascript & node.js. Our software engineers are constantly working on brand new problems, are picking up new skills all the time, and have a direct impact on the direction of the products we build.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Lead development for Cloud, Mobile & Desktop applications
  • Work with Product and Design to develop roadmaps and build new features
  • Work with development teams to continually improve process
  • Create/Review/Approve architectural design for complex 3D printing software products
  • Develop key components for new features - create backbones that more junior developers can build on top of
  • Work with tech leads on other products to ensure good cross functional design

Job Qualifications

  • Node.js and React/Flux experience
  • 1+ years of experience leading a software team or being technically responsible for a software product
  • Agile experience breaking down tasks and point estimation
  • In depth interest and knowledge of Javascript & Javascript frameworks
  • Experience developing for shared desktop/mobile/browser applications
  • Comfort and interest in both front end and back end development
  • Experience designing unit test frameworks
  • 5+ years development experience on a product team
  • Bachelor of Science or higher degree in computer science or equivalent.

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with build systems, teamcity
  • Experience with mobile dev
  • Experience with desktop app dev
  • Experience with Electron
  • Experience with 3D Printing (interest in 3D printing is required)
  • Experience with C++ or Python
