POSITION SUMMARY
The Solutions Architect will help potential clients understand how Payfone’s technology can solve their business problems. You will spend time speaking with clients, gathering feedback and whiteboarding solutions. Then, you will lead the integration process of those solutions to clients in your assigned business vertical - in this case, the Financial Services vertical. You will be successful here if you can think-outside-the box and take a creative approach to solve our client’s largest problems.
This position will require lots of face-time with potential clients. The Solutions Architect should be comfortable speaking with Payfone’s leadership and presenting to stakeholders of all levels at client organizations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
As a member of the Business Development – Financial Services team, the Solutions Architect will:
- Write technical specifications and develop implementation plans.
- Attend meetings with Sales Reps, develop an understanding of the client’s business challenges, and advise them on the best solutions for their companies.
- Lead the integration process by managing expectations and ensuring timelines are met.
- Act as the client’s internal technical stakeholder, manage their expectations, and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with the client’s representatives and members of the Payfone Product, Sales, Development and Support teams.
- Maintain strong knowledge of the Payfone suite of products.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of technical implementation experience at a B2B SaaS company or tech startup is preferred.
- Experience with REST APIs and JSON is required.
- Knowledge of Python and PHP is nice to have.
- Familiarity with SQL, JavaScript, HTML and CSS is helpful.
- Prior experience engaging with decision makers at all levels of an organization, including C-level executives.
- Project management experience is a plus.
COMPENSATION
A compensation package composed of a base salary and equity component will be structured to attract a uniquely qualified candidate. Excellent health benefits are included.
