To start, the project is one month of onsite freelance (40 hours a week) but it is likely to expand into an ongoing basis.

Job Description

This position is for the NYC office. The freelancer will work directly with the in-house Marketing team on digital marketing campaigns. His/her immediate responsibilities will include finalizing the development of our WordPress blog, installing and configuring WordPress plugins, bulk-editing blog content, optimizing images and ensuring a great user experience for blog users on desktop and mobile. Other tasks will include coding and troubleshooting emails and landing pages on an ongoing basis.

Tech Requirements

• A minimum 1-2 years of web development experience
• Familiarity working across teams (This position will be on the Marketing side but the freelancer will ensure the quality of work aligns with Engineering/Product/UX.)
• Solid working knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Chrome Developer Tools
• Experience in Wordpress and other CMS platforms, such as Hubspot, MailChimp, Intercom, Drupal, etc.
• Experience with Social Media Metrics Analytics and Google Analytics
• Understanding of best practices in UX/digital design
