This role will be responsible for many controller and FP&A responsibilities for Quovo, including P&L management, financial reporting, forecasting and analysis that will directly influence strategic questions and drive core business decisions. Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will work directly with senior leaders across the company and have visibility to the board of directors. The ideal candidate will have exceptional analytical skills with a passion for making an impact in a startup environment.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a comprehensive financial model and leverage for ongoing business strategy discussions
• Regularly update forecasts to ensure business decisions are made based on accurate forward-looking assumptions
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing to maintain a detailed understanding of the pipeline and report variances to previous plans
• Coordinate regular budget setting processes and reviews
• Develop various ad-hoc models and financial analyses to support key business decisions
• Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior leadership
• Prepare presentations for board members and other investors
• Manage period closing processes collaborating with accounting partners as necessary
• Participate in special projects to improve reporting, analytical tools and internal processes to enhance management decision process

About you:

• 4-6 years in accounting, controller type position, FP&A, or equivalent 
• Strong accounting and corporate finance knowledge (Big 4 accounting experience / CPA preferred) 
• Advanced Excel skills and strong proficiency in PowerPoint
• Demonstrated financial analysis and modeling expertise
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross-functional teams
• Experience in a controller / corporate finance role, especially in a startup environment, a plus
