As the Accounting Manager, you'll be reporting to our VP Finance and play an integral role in defining the accounting function for a rapidly growing startup. 

Responsibilities:

• Support our external accounting team with month-end closing, compliance, bank and credit card reconciliations, etc.
• Lead all activities related to Accounts Receivable/Accounts Payable
• Continuously review the company’s accounting information, systems, and policies to identify inaccuracies and propose improvements
• Assist VP Finance with implementing and tracking budgets, KPIs, hiring plans, and various other policies
• Assist with tax calculations, audits and returns
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements
• Support various departments with ad-hoc requests
• Assist VP Finance with investor relations

Qualifications:

• You have a BA/BS in Accounting or Finance and a CPA
• You have an audit background and have worked in a fast-growing startup (ideally SaaS)
• You have a rich knowledge of accounting/GAAP principles
• You thrive on change and are flexible enough to adapt to a high-growth environment. You enjoy learning on a daily basis.
• You are collaborative but able to work independently and ensure commitments are adhered to with high quality output 
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills
