Job Description:
The following is a non-exhaustive list of responsibilities and area of ownership of the Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist:
Submit invoices meeting client deadlines for submission via e-billing portals and electronic commerce.
Collaborating with teammates, sales team and other departments to obtain information needed to complete or correct transactions
Monitor status of submitted invoices for approval, payment, rejection
Maintain client communication with contacts for resolving issues with submission process
Analyze and Report billing activity, identify issues with process
Communicate issues and escalate to manager with corrective suggestion
Respond to billing related inquiries in a timely manner
Assist and proactively collect on past due invoices
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Associates degree in Accounting or Technical area or 2 years related job experience
Previous experience with e-billing systems preferred, knowledge of LEDES electronic files a plus
Competencies
Strong Excel, preferred knowledge of Pivot Tables and VLookups
Comfortable with multiple software programs.
Knowledge of Data structure, including understanding of various file formats
Experience formatting, and troubleshooting electronic file submission
Understanding of technical requirements of client portals, and ability to manipulate data to meet those specifications
Strong analytical skills, ability to identify trends and potential problems
Strong communication skills
