We are looking to hire our first Corporate Development Manager. The Corporate Development Manager will be the first member of a growing team within the Executive Office that evaluates and executes corporate partnerships and acquisitions, maps the competitive landscape, and helps shape and drive our corporate external voice. We are looking for a team member capable of understanding intimately our business model across all department and someone who excels at written and oral communication of our model. This role is one part investor, one part analyst, one part operator.

Responsibilities include:

• Creation:
• Drive the creation and explanation of our investment thesis for new and existing investors
• Build rigorous quantitative analyses and valuation methodologies to measure revenue, cost, and key operational drivers
• Develop decision matrices and frameworks to analyze complex cross-functional problems
• Analysis and Storytelling:
• Analyze industries, businesses, and new growth opportunities through strategic, financial and feasibility frameworks, applying sound business judgement
• Help our senior operators elegantly understand finance and business complexity that is embedded in our business
• Partnership/Acquisition Analysis:
• Work with senior operators to identify key strategic priorities and gaps and how to meet objectives via partnerships or acquisitions 
• Support in the identification, development, analysis and successful execution of transactions
• Map landscape and develop key relationships with potential targets
• Competitive Analysis: 
• Lead DailyPay’s understanding for the market and major competitive trends across both public and private companies 
• Build and maintain financial and industry analysis for our key industry TAMs and relevant companies
• Own communication of key trends to DailyPay’s leadership team

Relevant Experience

• 4-6 years of relevant work experience, ideally split between investment-finance, and a fast-growth technology operating company. Experience from SaaS and SMB end markets a plus; as well as experience from industries including buy-side (equity, venture, growth-equity, private equity), or investment banking. 
• Ability to storytell data and key business concepts elegantly through slides and written memos. 
• Strong project management skills - you can manage projects and drive outcomes with little to no oversight. 
• Ability to communicate with and understand the needs of a diverse set of internal and external parties - CEOs, bankers, venture capitalists, industry thought leaders, and senior leadership across every level and function.
• Exceptional analytical and financial modeling skills
• Highly proficient in Excel and presentation applications (i.e. Google Slides, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Ability to multitask and execute rapidly at a high level
• Great attention to detail
• The capacity for strategic systems-level thinking
