The Role:

The Finance Manager role is responsible for championing financial reporting and strategizing based on conducted financial research. You will be working with senior executives, along with team members in different departments, at DailyPay. One important facet of your job is to provide valuable information to aid in long-term and short-term decision making for those stakeholders. In this role, being proactive is essential: forecasting and recognizing areas of risk must be a great strength of yours.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct research, produce financial reports and establish strategies based on findings
• Provide insightful information and expectations to senior executives to aid in long-term and short-term decision making
• Maintain and enhance existing reports as necessary
• Participate in ongoing development of annual/quarterly/monthly budgets
• Conduct continual ad hoc analysis and reporting
• Recognize and prepare data for various reporting and modeling purposes
• Seek out areas and opportunities of minimizing financial risk
• Establish and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
• Work cross-functionally with various stakeholders in providing analysis and guidance around data 

Requirements:

• Self-starter who takes initiative and is able to work independently
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or other relevant field
• 4+ years of experience with financial reporting and data analytics
• Advanced Excel experience
• Has demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
• Enjoys collaborating cross-functionally; working as part of a team and interacting with different departments
• Experience extracting large volume of data and processing it into useful information
• Highly analytical, data driven, and detail oriented 
• Superior attention to detail
