Global Strategic Finance Associate
The Global Strategic Finance Associate will play a critical role in the planning, forecasting, reporting, and analysis of capital expenditures across WeWork’s global business. This role will provide thoughtful insight into business trends to internal business partners and our executive team, that help facilitate key decisions. Essential duties and responsibilities include budgeting, forecasting, long range planning, variance analysis, decision support projects and ad hoc analysis. The successful individual must be able to analyze and interpret data to draw out insights and drive better business decisions.
Responsibilities include:
· Be a subject matter expert into our global development organization and help analyze performance across regions
· Provide insight into our return on capital performance and how it compared to expectations
· Perform cohort analyses to better understand trend performance
· Assist in preparing weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports and presentations for Senior Management
· Prepare analysis for ad-hoc requests
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of progressive Finance experience in a global company with corporate FP&A and prior investment banking analyst experience at a top tier bank is required
· Advanced proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint
· Experience with Workday, Tableau, Looker, Anaplan and/or Hyperion/Essbase is a plus
· Ability to synthesize financial / business impact information in to clear and concise summaries for presentation to senior finance and business stakeholders
· Possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills with ability to interpret data
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task
· Superb attention to detail is critical
· BS in Finance Accounting or Business Administration required, MBA or CFA preferred, not required
