At Actuate, we make the world safer by turning any camera into a smart camera.

We help organizations manage the transition from traditional burglar alarms and human guards to smart AI-powered security.

Our software-only AI analyzes data from existing security cameras in real-time to detect threats such as weapons, intruders, crowds, and where people travel in any environment. The system acts as an end-to-end security camera management system that enables onboarding and management of cameras as well as instant alerts and analytics that allow organizations to pinpoint problems without collecting any personally identifiable information.

We're looking for a Head of Revenue to own our customer acquisition strategy and operations from end-to-end. This means analyzing and improving our entire sales motion from initial touch to close and onboarding, including collaborating closely with Customer Success to maximize usage.

Key areas of focus for the Head of Revenue include Demand Generation, owning sales training, sales operations improvements, designing sales compensation and deal processes, and owning the customer value proposition and pitch creation. The ideal candidate will have experience across most of these areas but won't be limited to them: We're looking for someone to join our executive team and turbo-charge growth for the entire firm.

Reaching our customer base of security professionals requires creative thinking as security teams are always excited to hear new ideas and content, but they don't seek it out. This means that traditional SaaS-style growth strategies often don't work well. As such, the idea candidate will have experience selling into traditional industries and enjoy thinking outside the box in how they implement all marketing initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Experience in a senior Revenue or Growth role at a startup
  • 6+ years experience in Sales, Marketing, Demand Generation, Growth, or similar
  • Experience building and managing teams and organizations
  • Strong interest in AI and startups
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder located in the NYC area

Experience with the following is a plus:

  • Selling to traditional industries such as industrials
  • Exposure to AI and/or Physical Security
