WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Discuss and present investment opportunities to warm investor leads
- Be empowered with the creative autonomy given to build and generate lists of prospective HNW and UHNW investors
- Educate investors on how the secondary market and alternative assets fit within their portfolio
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to voice client feedback and assist with platform improvements
- Participate in product ideation and innovation as we address a growing market
- Gain an understanding of VC backed private tech companies, learn about valuation, varying business models, and paths to exit
THE RIGHT STUFF
- 2+ years of relevant experience selling financial products ideally in private wealth management, venture capital, or private equity
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses required
- Experience selling equities for alternative asset classes to UHNW and HNW investors
- Experience selling to inbound leads as well as prospecting for new investors through multiple channels
- An interest in the venture capital asset class
- Strong communication skills (verbal, listening and written)
- Highly organized and works hard and smart with attention to detail
- Experience with lead generation/prospecting and/or Sales Development
- Collaborative approach and team player mentality
- Process-oriented, data-driven and tech-forward
- Self-driven, motivated and results driven
BONUS POINTS
- 2-year track record of exceeding sales quotas within a financial services firm
- Experience selling alternative investments, ideally private tech investments (crowdfunding, pre-IPO, private equity stakes)
- Experience selling investments to the HNWI investor channel
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM
