The Role:

BuzzFeed is hiring a Revenue Accountant in its New York City office. Reporting to the Director of Accounting, this position will be an essential component of a small but growing team that helps ensure BuzzFeed's continued success.

Responsibilities:

• Own month-end billing and advertising revenue close process

• Verify delivery reporting for advertising programs for completeness and alignment with insertion orders

• Collaborate with Client Services and distribution leads to validate media plan products and pricing

• Develop a strong understanding of BuzzFeed products and pricing to ensure media plan and revenue recognition accuracy

• Support other Accounting functions, as necessary

Requirements:

• 2+ years accounting experience at a global advertising media agency or publisher with a focus on client billing and revenue recognition

• Advanced Excel skills a must, NetSuite experience preferred

• Familiarity with DoubleClick DFP, DFA, Atlas, Sizmek, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube reporting

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

• Strong quantitative and reconciliation skills

• Excellent attention to detail, organizational and communication skills
