Senior Business Analyst, Finance Systems

Yext is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst of Financial Systems to join our growing IT team, reporting into IT Director, Finance & HR Systems. The role will be responsible to manage, oversee, improve, transform, and support the ecosystem of Financial Applications at Yext. In addition to supporting the current Financial Systems in place, the role will lead and/or support many critical and strategic initiatives of newly adopted technology and solutions across multiple different business functions. The candidate should be hands-on and can run small or large strategic projects first hand and meet internal/external audit requirements. Responsibilities
- Work closely with Accounting and Finance teams to gather and document business requirements and apply technology to enable and enhance business processes and increase efficiency
- Streamline and standardize business processes to ensure cost effective use of resources and service reliability
- Plan, review, and support process and systems changes, configurations, and customization requests
- Partner with business stakeholders, Engineers, and other IT teams to implement and enable IT/Finance roadmap
- Facilitate the best use of applications through analysis of business process requirements, managed project implementations and end-user training
- Continuously improve the quality and delivery of new application services to increase the overall productivity and effectiveness of Finance Team
- Be a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to the existing financial systems in the ecosystem
- Develop and maintain proper system access for all roles across different systems
- Create, document, and manage customizations, workflows, custom objects, new functionality based on evolving business needs
- Develop, test and deploy custom application extensions using system API and 3rd party tools
- Partner with Internal Audit to complete SOX system reviews on a monthly, quarterly, or yearly basis, including access and segregation of duty
- Exercise project leadership skills combined with strong business acumen and in-depth analytical skills
Minimum Requirements
- BA/BS degree in any discipline or similar college level education
- 5+ years of experience in supporting and managing Financial Systems
- 5+ years of hands-on experience supporting Financial systems, such as NetSuite ERP, Zuora Billing, RevPro, BlackLine, Coupa, Concur, or Anaplan
- Experience in Workday Financials and migration to Workday Financials (highly desired)
- Experience working with Internal and Audit Teams
- Experience working with Engineering and Product Teams to define technical requirements and perform UAT
- Experience in putting together Business and Technical Requirement documents
- Experience in PLC or SDLC
- Excellent customer relationship management skills
