Intersection is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity to join an exciting new firm bringing technological innovation to the urban cityscape.

 

The Role:

The Senior Financial Analyst is a key member of Intersection’s finance team and will be tasked with leading financial modeling efforts across the Company’s various business lines and providing analytical support for sales, operations, and new deal forecasting. In addition, the candidate will support our work as a managing member of CityBridge, a consortium of leading companies in their fields bringing the world’s fastest public Wi-Fi and cutting-edge media to New York City via LinkNYC.

 

Key Relationships:

The Senior Financial Analyst will report directly to the Head of Corporate Planning but will be intricately involved across a number of finance functions and business lines to support initiatives driven by Intersection’s Chief Financial Officer. There is a significant amount of senior leadership interaction expected.

 

Position Responsibilities:

Support Senior Executives w/ various financial and business analysis, including:

  • Building financial models and scenario analysis on existing contracts and for new business development activities
  • Interfacing with business unit leads on model assumptions, mechanics, and presentations and communicating key metrics to Senior Executives
  • Developing other ad hoc financial and business analysis as required
  • Competitor analysis and market research in relevant technology and advertising verticals

 

Required Experience:

  • Top tier investment banking, consulting or other financial modeling work experience required
  • Proven knowledge of financial analysis techniques
  • Demonstrated ability to construct strong, detailed financial models
  • Outstanding verbal and written presentation skills and experience presenting analysis to senior team members
  • Technology and/or media sector knowledge / interest a strong plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Powerpoint, and Google Docs

 

Education: A Bachelor’s degree from a top tier university
