ROLE:

JioSaavn is seeking a collaborative, high-energetic and analytically-driven Senior Manager, Corporate Finance & Strategy to join our growing team. Working closely with the COO and CFO, you will inform strategic decision-making among senior management and across the organization through insightful data analysis, sophisticated modeling, and thoughtful board and investor presentation communicating overall results. This role reports directly to VP, Strategy & Operations and is based in our New York office.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintaining our detailed financial and operational model that incorporates our key metrics and strategic initiatives across business units and functional departments.
• Developing compelling reports and presentation materials communicating company strategy and results for investor and board meetings.
• Analyzing, researching and communicating detailed industry and market reviews including key trends, competitive analysis for senior management, investors and board.
• Supporting the Corporate Development team for assessing M&A opportunities.
• Collaborating with corporate teams (Finance, HR and Legal) to help plan and measure progress towards their quarterly business goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5-7 years experience in a investment bank or relevant corporate finance / FP&A experience at a company. MBA preferred, but not necessary.
• Passion and deep understanding of the technology, media and entertainment spaces.
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills
• Extensive experience in conducting and presenting rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis and insights with simplicity, clarity, and confidence to various stakeholders including senior/executive management.
• Prepare financial projections for executive team for quarterly, annual and long-term business planning purposes.
• Evaluate and improve forecasting methodologies used across the organization.
• Deeply grasp the economics of a content streaming platform, including revenue and expense drivers, key performance indicators, and recent historical trends and ensure functional departments and project groups have information to apply these insights to their work.
• Organized, disciplined, process-driven strategic and analytical thinker with the ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems with attention to detail.
• An entrepreneurial, “roll up your sleeves” attitude and willingness to perform tasks with a range of difficulty from routine tasks to preparing analysis for senior management.
• Effective in working autonomously to “get things done” and taking the initiative to anticipate needs of teams and senior management.
• Exceptional proficiency in creating visually appealing presentations, MS Excel, data analysis and modeling skills.
• Experience working with an international team.
• Authentic, intellect, open-minded, good listener, positive, and fun.
