The finance and operations team is the nervous system of White Ops. By joining the team you will gain an in-depth understanding of White Ops products and what it takes to grow a company. The main function of the team is to provide accurate and reliable forecasts, analyze financial and operational data in order to aid strategic decision making, and partner with leadership to understand the health of the business. Your main role will be to own day-to-day FP&A operations, support the finance team in investor relations, IPO readiness, and fundraising needs, as well as partner closely with the accounting team to help build a stronger finance and operations team.

What you'll do:

  • Take ownership of specific aspects of FP&A months close updates and reforecasting
  • Own and manage financial model and all aspects of month close process
  • Build and maintain complex financial models and data analyzes that bring together financial and operational data
  • Produce accurate, timely, ad-hoc models in support of White Ops strategic needs and objectives
  • Design and evolve key dashboards across all segments of the business
  • Support finance team in investor relations, fundraising needs, corporate development, and IPO readiness

  • You constantly drive for correctness and performance, in that order.
  • You are a finance professional that has shown rigor and quality in their work and a desire to learn.
  • You have proficiency with Excel and are able to build and maintain complex models.
  • You have familiarity with the tools of a financial professional and can adapt your knowledge to new platforms and systems
  • Track record of independent, creative problem solving.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and ability to work effectively with the accounting team.
  • Be able to prioritize effectively during times of high pressure.
  • Knowledge of the systems White Ops uses is a plus: Adaptive Insights, Intacct, Looker, Snowflake.
  • Knowledge of SQL a plus but not needed.
