We design, build and optimize eCommerce experiences on Shopify Plus for global brands.

We're looking for a talented Freelance eCommerce Strategist to help our clients grow their brands and achieve their business goals. You will partner with our merchants to ensure they are maximizing their ROI by implementing eCommerce best practices and data-driven recommendations. You will work directly with our clients, as well as our design, development, and production teams to oversee CRO engagements with our fashion, beauty, lifestyle, and luxury clients on Shopify and Shopify Plus.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Data Analysis: You are responsible for gathering data that can be leveraged to drive informed decision-making, optimize performance, and ultimately, maximize the success of a client's ecommerce business. This will be done for both project and retainer clients.
  • Reporting & Retrospectives: You create, present and get approval on roadmaps from clients and their executive team. You present audit findings to the client and any executive team members. You lead CRO program status calls with Strategic Program Managers, roadmap review calls, and retrospectives.
  • Strategic Roadmapping: You are responsible for generating actionable insights and strategic recommendations based on your data analysis findings, retrospective and client goals/feedback. You are responsible for understanding client KPIs and overarching eCommerce goals.
  • Strategic Implementation: You are responsible for implementing all strategized and approved recommendations within relevant platforms.
  • Task Management: You work with strategic program managers to coordinate the execution of tasks in alignment with overarching organizational goals and strategies.
  • Education: You will implement best practices & stay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in CRO, digital marketing, and related technologies (Shopify and various Optimization platforms) to continually enhance the agency's service offerings.

Requirements

Your Experience & Skills

  • Must be familiar with Shopify ecosystem and be comfortable recommending 3rd party solutions and other recommendations such as UI/UX improvements
  • 2+ Years in an agency or eCommerce role
  • 2+ Years of Shopify Experience
  • 2+ Years of Google Analytics Experience
  • Experience using various CRO tools such as Nosto, Limespot, OmniConvert, VWO, Optimizely, Dynamic Yield, Visually.io
  • Ability to understand basic client KPI's and CRO principles
  • Ability to put together client reports and roadmaps with KPI's
  • Ability to present recommendations to clients and stakeholders on calls
  • Ability to understand and interpret data across multiple platforms, such as Google Analytics and HotJar
  • Ability to work with cross-functional team members to understand client's overall goals and objectives
