Cox Automotive is looking for a General Marketing Coordinator to join our team. 

This is a pipeline requisition.

The overall team is focused on executing and activating marketing campaigns across dealers and lenders the by developing engaging marketing programs that will reach the target audience for each product and inspire an increase in sales revenue and market share.  The primary role of the General Marketing Coordinator is to focus on supporting the marketing team for Vin Solutions and Dealertrack products from the lead, deal and customer relationship management through to the finance and transaction management.  This individual will get the products ready to sell via marketing and sales campaigns/ programs, enablement for sales and other training support teams focused on growing revenue and increasing market share in accordance with corporate goals. Under general supervision, this individual is responsible to work closely with several internal stakeholders to enable the team to best deliver against the marketing strategy and execute against the plan. Pivotal to your success in this role will be your ability to "switch hats" readily between marketing execution projects and administrative/ organizational work that helps the team run smoothly and efficiently.

 

Responsibilities:

 

The following outlines the role responsibilities but is not limited to:

  • General Marketing Support Across the Team. Support on various campaign execution components.
  • Ensure the business is running efficiently.  This includes: lead set up and ensure internal meetings support and morale; manage sales collateral and other requests; and premiums and collateral / promotional item management across the business.
  • Clear communications is always key in business.  Support the team by doing the following: gather / collate and merge product marketing plans, calendar and timelines; and gather / collate and merge marketing business results in a simplified, visual/impactful summary of business status – weekly, quarterly, annual.
  • Make this team and CAI a great place to be!  Help drive positive team and cross-team morale by doing the following: help resolve issues and mitigate things in the business that are slowing the team down; be the ears and eyes across the team to identify and determine what is not working and recommendations to fix it; and execute activities / engaging ideas that drive a happy place to work and ensure everyone is engaged! 
  • Product marketing campaign execution (online/offline) support where needed. Campaign Systems execution support.  Working with the Product Marketing Managers to assist with the execution of product marketing campaigns, programs and promotions. Some elements of what you will do is listed here but not limited to. This includes: actively support and manage the identified product marketing execution to ensure corporate objectives and deadlines are being met; help to identify and execute the appropriate marketing tactics for specified objectives and strategies including advertising, collateral, public relations, direct marketing, digital marketing, SEM, social media, and other tactics as appropriate; assist in editing online content updates using content management system as needed; help across the team with competitive assessments in the marketplace (i.e what competitors are doing for marketing and communications across marketing vehicles online/offline).
  • Support execution of events as needed.
  • Support budget management and PO Requisition.
  • Budget reporting relative to a target of +/-2%.
  • Travel & Expenses Budget status reporting.

Qualifications

  • You represent the company brand well and help others to do the same.  Strong verbal and written communication skills.  

  • You work calmly under multiple deadlines; You get things done ahead of time and anticipate the needs.
  • Proficiency computer and technology skills (experience with MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SalesForce, Eloqua, Pardot, Social Media Platforms, and other platforms etc).

Experience and Education Required:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent working experience
