As part of the team, you have the opportunity to learn and use the latest tools and technologies and explore a range of roles to grow your career.

Job Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Coordination and preparation of various management presentations (e.g. weekly and monthly reporting, etc.)
  • Support the finance function by using analytical methods & tools to interpret large & complex data sets
  • Support senior team members in the management, analysis, forecasting, and reporting of financial and non-financial trends
  • Developing models and performing financial analysis
  • Supporting the corporation's internal planning function
  • Opportunity to deliver clear, cohesive, compelling presentations to leadership teams in/outside of Finance
  • Contribute to team discussions and client meetings
  • Assist in execution of process improvement initiatives
  • Assist in project management and planning of key priorities

Work Location, Hours & Benefits:

  • This position is in New York City and may be partially/fully remote (Note: location/remote work is currently flexible and dependent on Covid19 protocol.)
  • Internship duration : June 6th - August 5th 
  • Hours are 9 AM - 6 PM, Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (includes one hour of unpaid lunch)
  • This is a paid position ($17 per hour)
  • This person will be provided with a direct manager and a DailyPal (buddy).  They will receive orientation to learn more about the company and culture, opportunities for training and networking and additional benefits. 

Finance Intern Qualifications / Skills:

  • Knowledge of financial/quantitative data analysis, experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communications skills, with ability to formulate clear and concise messages
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects, solve problems, and think strategically/critically
  • Proactive, good comfort level with working in an often-ambiguous environment, anticipating needs and staying ahead of them
  • Interpersonal skills and high level of comfort/ease to interact with all levels of the organization
  • Organized with attention to detail
  • Experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
