Latch is hiring a Firmware Test Automation Engineering Co-Op Intern for the Fall 2019 semester, to work closely with the firmware engineering team to design, prototype, and test firmware for the next generation of access control hardware. The engineering team works in a fast-paced and highly-challenging environment, which means that as an intern at Latch, you’ll be given real projects that greatly impact the future of the company.

Responsibilities: 

• Create test scripts and suites to ensure product specification is being met.
• Conduct automated and manual tests to ensure high reliability and quality metric
• Work closely with Firmware developers as they implement features.
• Create and maintain automation test fixtures and set-ups needed to run automated testing.
• Assist with documentation.

Qualifications: 

• Pursuing BS/MS in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Science.
• Proficient in python programming and C
• Experience working on projects which used a Raspberry Pi, Arduino, IoT dev kits strongly preferred.
