Graphic Design & Social Media Intern
We’re a technology-powered hospitality brand, which means our primary focus is to provide our guests with an incredible experience. We are looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our roster of talented multi-disciplinary designers. You will have a chance to work across different teams, such as Interior/Brand Design, Marketing/Social Media, and Digital Product. Our ideal candidate is passionate about brand marketing, travel, design and hospitality. You’ll be able to grow your skills working on a variety of projects with designers and team members across various different practices, such as interior design, brand, marketing, social media, hospitality / guest experience, and digital product design.
You must be a hands-on, results-oriented person who is excited about Domio’s mission of connecting people through travel. You care deeply about the smallest details because you understand that’s a big part of hospitality—the little things matter! You’re excited to learn and grow and are comfortable with a fast-paced start-up work environment.

At Domio You Will:
- Work on a variety of design projects and tasks within interior design, marketing / social media, brand design, and digital product design under the guidance of designers and stakeholders
- Create graphics, marketing collateral, illustrations, branded design assets, promotional materials, corporate brand assets, amongst other types of design and content tasks across digital, physical, and print
- Synthesize feedback and make revisions within your work
- Contribute to social media content creation and postings across platforms including Instagram, Pinterest, and LinkedIn
- Identify and advise on social media and design trends within the industry
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Who You Are:
- Strong knowledge of Adobe CC Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, LightRoom
- Working knowledge of Sketch
- Working knowledge of Adobe CC AfterEffects
- Proficient in basic photography (framing, balance, layout)
- Strong understanding of core design principles, such as typography, color theory, layout, and interface design
- Familiarity with design methodologies and design thinking, marketing and advertising design, UI design, information design, and corporate brand design
- Strong verbal, written and visual communication skills and the ability and desire to collaborate with designers, project managers and other stakeholder
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Self-driven and able to work within a fast-paced start-up work environment
- Pursuing a BFA degree in Graphic Design, Communication Design, or a related degree
- Previous experience working with brands is a plus
- Minimum commitment of 12 hours per week
