As an intern at our high growth video technology company, you will be able to transform your interest in marketing into a set of marketable skills applicable to a wide range of careers.

We are looking for someone who is willing to roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun in order to help take JW Player to the next level within the online video space. You should be equally excited about using your qualitative skills to produce well-targeted and creative campaigns as you are about using your quantitative skills to measure the results of those campaigns. You will be working closely with the marketing, sales, and client services teams on content, events, and social, as well as analytics and reporting for each of these channels.

In this role, you will:

  • Assist team members with day to day marketing tasks and coordinating marketing projects and activities as requested
  • Organize the production of branded items such as stationery and merchandise
  • Assist Brand Marketing Manager in production of marketing communications, such as one-sheets, postcards, banners, etc.
  • Work with Brand Marketing Manager to track event campaign performance and ROI
  • Keep online event pages up to date
  • Update and maintain the marketing department's wiki pages
  • Assist in the booking of travel for all event attendees
  • Work with Brand Marketing Manager in the sourcing and booking of event venues
  • Provide support for execution of marketing events as required

Requirements:

  • Sound understanding of marketing principles
  • Confident and outgoing personality
  • Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, Google and Adobe PhotoShop
  • Strong copywriting skills and the ability to communicate complex ideas
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong administration and organizational skills
  • Well organized and self motivated
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines
  • Personable, presentable and articulate
  • Effective project management skills
  • Degree in marketing (not essential but an advantage)
