What this role is about:
As a Recruiting Intern, you will support the People team by playing a pivotal role in our hiring process. You’ll be responsible for supporting our in-house recruiting team to source and fill open roles across the organization and assist with maintaining our pipeline of candidates in our applicant tracking system. This is a great opportunity to have a real impact on the growth of the company while working in a diverse and dynamic environment!
What you’ll do:
Identify and assist in outreach to qualified candidates that fit hiring needs
Schedule and assist the recruiting team with coordinating interviews throughout the hiring process
Maintain data accuracy of candidates and prospective applicants in our applicant tracking system (Workday), and following up with stakeholders to ensure information is complete and accurate
Research and identify recruiting trends and gather competitive intelligence to enhance RapidSOS employment brand
Support the greater People team as necessary
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
Actively working towards a Bachelor’s in English, HR, Marketing, or Communications
Outstanding organization skills; you are skilled at tracking and aren’t afraid to ask questions if something seems unclear.
Experience with using GSuite (Google Calendar, Google Docs, etc.)
Familiarity with sourcing and recruiting tools (LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)
Familiarity with Workday Recruiter or another applicant tracking system (ATS) is a plus
Critical thinking and investigative skills
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to anticipate needs and solve problems proactively
Interest in understanding how to scale a growing organization
