Compass is seeking a Full-Time summer intern to support our Social and Content team, assuring the highest quality and creativity for day-to-day content creation. As an intern within our Marketing team, you will help produce original content for social media, digital, and print platforms as well as track its performance, all with a mindset of showcasing our agents, their listings, and the Compass brand.This paid position is ideal for a undergraduate rising senior student and will require 40 hours per week in-office.At Compass You Will:

  • Collaborate with a team of 40+ producers, art directors, marketing associates, and editors in the development and execution of marketing campaigns for print, video, and social platforms
  • Assist with research, interview transcription, writing, and possibly some editing
  • Track weekly social media growth and engagement across platforms and competitive landscape
  • Write, analyze, and organize data for quarterly, comprehensive social media reports
  • Conduct research on social media partnerships for initiatives such as Instagram takeovers
  • Support the marketing department by relaying trends in design, marketing, social media, and real estate
  • Assist with the creation of two issues of our lifestyle magazine, Compass Quarterly, helping to research, report, and write original content
  • Contribute content including buyer and seller stories to our digital publications
  • Assist with first-pass editing projects related to expansion and agent recruitment
  • Adapt collateral into usable, consumer-facing content (e.g. rework a standard, print buyer’s guide into a click-y, sharable list-icle on Medium.com)

What We're Looking For:

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Creative with an eye for detail and design
  • Knowledge of Adobe Suite preferred
  • Excellent writing and proofreading skills
  • Organized, efficient, and collaborative self-starter
  • Experience with real estate, technology, lifestyle and/or luxury brands or media preferred
  • Must be located in Greater New York City area
  • Pursuing degree in journalism, marketing, design, English, or communications
