The Role:

The User Research Intern will be part of our Design team, and work closely with our Product Managers, Data, and Customer Success teams. Using both qualitative and quantitative methodology to conduct research, you will work on projects that will impact product decisions and ultimately help students become more engaged readers. In your day to day, you’ll be creating surveys to capture user data, building working session materials, documenting notes from working sessions, and managing recruiting/scheduling of survey participants.

You are empathetic towards the experiences of K-12 teachers and students, and are energized by the idea of synthesizing information to improve their user experience. An excellent communicator, you’re confident presenting your ideas in front of a group, answering questions, and are willing to consider feedback. You are curious and excited to experiment with new ideas. You have experience working with Excel and Office/Google Suites, and are an extremely detail-oriented organizer.
