Description:

The Visual Design Intern will join a growing team of designers with diverse backgrounds who come from some of the top agencies and tech companies across the country. Our office is located in the heart of New York City, blocks from Union Square, and the East and West Villages. Our culture is energetic, collaborative, and supportive, and working within this team will give you the opportunity to solve complex problems with visually compelling designs across a range of digital products and tools. You can expect to develop and hone your design skills, work with a development team, build prototypes and learn about best practices in interactive design. This is a paid role that runs from June 4 through August 10.

Requirements:

• Current junior or senior undergrad or graduate student studying towards a degree in a Design related field such as Interaction Design, Visual Communications, Graphic Design, etc.
• Advanced knowledge of design fundamentals—typography, hierarchy, branding, etc., and a passion for visual design and expression
• Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch, InVision, and any additional motion, development, or 3D software programs
• An interest in technology and product design
• Online portfolio with a variety of design projects, including visual design for digital products
