About the Role:

Transfix is on an exciting growth path, and we are looking for a self-motivated and organized Paralegal to join our growing Legal team. As a Paralegal, you will support the team on a broad range of legal matters. You will bring your experience working with legal documents and provide valuable insights. Your detailed oriented nature and enthusiasm for process will optimize the legal team’s productivity and make a valuable impact on the business.

In this Role you Will:

• Work closely with our talented legal team to assist on a broad range of legal and corporate governance issues
• Assist in preparing and filing SEC documents, including annual, quarterly and current reports, proxy statements, registration statements, and Section 16 filings
• Assist in the preparation, coordination and distribution of materials for the Board of Directors and senior management
• Oversee day-to-day management and maintenance of our corporate and entity records
• Help build and maintain systems for recordkeeping, deadline management and contract management
• Draft resolutions, certificates and other legal documents

You’re an Excellent Fit for this Position if you Have:

• 2+ years as a corporate Paralegal/Legal Assistant in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Ideally, experience with public company governance, shareholder support, Section 16 reporting obligations, and other SEC rules and obligations
• Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), the Google Suite (Gmail, Google Meet), and other online communication tools
• Experience using, or comfort with learning corporate governance/SEC filing software, such as EDGAR filing software and board management systems
• Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detailAbility to work independently, prioritize and complete multiple tasks and keep deadlines
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information with discretion
