Your role in helping us shape the future:

U.S. News & World Report is hiring a Marketing Manager for its business-to-business communications efforts in a variety of industries, including education, healthcare and consumer products.

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for creating and implementing campaigns and processes that enable U.S. News to connect with marketing decision makers in these industries. Outreach will include campaigns that support specific sales efforts and thought leadership content that help build relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, revenue-oriented leader who has experience with B2B marketing and is comfortable owning a broad range of marketing responsibilities and independently managing a variety of resources and projects.

Are you up to the challenge?

  • Ownership of marketing efforts that drive and nurture leads and that strengthen U.S. News’s reputation among relevant B2B marketing decision makers.

  • Creation and deployment of engaging thought leadership content for B2B marketing decision makers.

  • Identify and implement ways to promote our products via e-blasts, personal email, direct mail, digital presentations, website content and other media.

  • Work with the sales team to identify opportunities and pain points, and then to implement solutions.

  • Create go-to-market sales materials that clearly communicate our value proposition and unique differentiators in the marketplace.

  • Comprehensive understanding of our products, our competitive categories, our clients, and our values.

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

You should definitely have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience required.

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, including experience in B2B marketing, in a marketing leadership role, and in using a variety of marketing media.

  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced start-up environment, where processes and systems are still under construction and priorities may shift.

  • Critical thinker with proven ability to identify opportunities that drive high return.

  • Be a creative story-teller with experience crafting compelling messages.

  • Analytical and data driven with a test and learn mentality.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Ability to juggle multiple projects.
