Be the first marketing hire for a travel startup, backed by top venture capital firms. You will work closely with the cofounders to design and implement Noken’s acquisition strategy from the ground up.

Noken is a consumer tech startup that sells travel experiences to discover the world. Noken curates Travel Blueprints™, flexible routes to explore new countries, that travelers tailor to their dates and budget and book in moments. Travelers receive a personalized app guide with 24/7 support, empowering them to explore more. Noken was founded out of Harvard Business School and has raised $3M to date.

What you’ll do

As the first marketing hire, you will have a front row seat to all of the action. You will help design the strategy and spearhead the execution of Noken’s acquisition marketing programs. This is what you’ll be up to:

  • At launch, help us hit the ground running by leading the exploration and testing of experimental channels to design a thoughtful and innovative marketing mix
  • Build and execute brand-driven campaigns to introduce Noken to the world, including collaboration with creative teams to generate new content for campaigns
  • Manage day-to-day operations of digital marketing campaigns (e.g. Paid Social, Display, Affiliates, SEM, IRM) and agencies/vendors associated with our acquisition efforts
  • Leverage iterative A/B and multi-variate testing to optimize and scale acquisition campaigns
  • Analyze campaign performance against KPIs on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to inform bold tests, optimization plans, and budgeting decisions
  • Build forecasting frameworks to fuel the growth of the business and key budgeting decisions

 

Who you are

We’re looking for someone who is hungry to learn, keen to grow responsibilities, and passionate about Noken’s mission to make international travel seamless for everyone. The best candidates will have:

  • 3-5 years of data-driven marketing experience
  • Experience working at a consumer-focused startup
  • Expertise across multiple digital media channels, including paid social, display, SEM
  • Advanced knowledge of excel, digital marketing KPI’s, third party analytics platforms and attribution technology
  • A balance of analytical and creative strengths, never having a shortage of ideas but obsessed with execution and measurement
  • A love for synthesizing data to drive actionable insights
  • A hunger and drive to roll up your sleeves and make it happen
