DESCRIPTION

The Assistant Marketing Manager is responsible for supporting the marketing team and Scentbird’s growing roster of beauty clients. She/He will help to generate and effectively execute the promotional activities of Scentbird’s brand partners and assist in overall partnership management, insuring brand integrity and needs are met. The individual will work closely with Scentbird digital and creative teams in both the ideation and execution of creative elements and with the new business development team, overseeing the integration of new brand partners. A highly collaborative, enthusiastic attitude is essential for this versatile and exciting position.
 

Primary Responsibilities:

• Assist in overall management of brands in Scentbird portfolio
• Build service-oriented relationships with brand partners, starting with the integration phase
• Support activation of brand strategy, including development of promotional plan
• Help to procure partner brand assets, both from a creative and operational perspective
• Oversee placement/classification of brand creative assets in internal Scentbird library
• Insure brand information on social media tools are properly reflected, directing copy and visuals
• Coordinate posts on Scentbird blog
• Work with Operations Manager and Marketing Services to insure proper inventory levels are maintained and arrange new shipments as needed.
• Oversee preparation of performance summaries for current clients, including sample tracking and subscriber research information
• Work with manager to identify new areas of opportunity or efficiencies

REQUIREMENTS

• 4-year undergraduate degree, preferably in Marketing
• 2-3 years professional experience in account management/marketing role

• Energetic with strong communication skills

• Communicate and work effectively with people at all levels, both internally and externally

• Passionate about beauty and the luxury category

• Motivated self-starter, detail oriented and organized

• Strong analytical skills and organizational skills

• Multi-tasker with a hands-on attitude

• Highly proficient in PowerPoint, Excel and Word

• Strong copywriting and creative skills

• Digital marketing experience required
