As the Category Manager, Online Therapy on the Performance Marketing team, you will be responsible for ideating and executing the strategy to grow the mental health footprint across all Dotdash properties. Using an analytical mindset while remaining solutions-oriented, you will find areas of growth and work closely with the product and editorial team to enhance the user experience. As the primary owner of mental health Performance Marketing vertical, the Category Manager, Online Therapy will remain up to date on all of the metrics and statistics, and communicate regularly to senior management. In this role, reporting to the Chief Commercial Marketing Officer, you’ll be a crucial part of the growth and overall success of the Performance Marketing Team and Dotdash as a whole.

About Your Contributions:

  • Lead and own the Dotdash Mental Health vertical revenue
  • Partner with editorial, product, business development, and marketing to achieve ambitious growth goals
  • Diligently monitor campaigns, proactively identify areas of opportunity or risk, and resolve potential issues
  • Develop and champion a long-term product strategy and roadmap; present strategy to senior management and secure project funding and buy-in
  • Collaborate across multiple Dotdash brands to bring online therapy offers to users of our sites
  • Understand the competitive landscape, the user base, the industry trends, and the product/market fit
  • Run weekly meetings to review metrics and provide optimization & content recommendations
  • Prospect new topic ideas, and coordinate execution with the editorial team
  • Develop and expand your professional network among online therapy ecosystem players, including providers, entrepreneurs, and payers

About You:

  • 5-8 years online marketing and/or account management experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in the mental health space
  • Ability to simultaneously project manage several initiatives with varying priorities
  • Track record of successfully presenting ambitious proposals to senior business leadership
  • Familiarity with affiliate marketing and lead generation
  • Experience working across multiple departments in a matrix organization
  • Able to manage multiple projects and campaigns with conflicting priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Must be a self-starter; able to work with minimal supervision to initiate and complete tasks; experience in startups or new divisions a plus
  • Must be enthusiastic, friendly and work well under pressure
