CardFlight is looking for a hard-working individual to join our marketing team as a Content Marketing Writer. This team member will write and edit most of our communications content, both internal and external facing, while leveraging a creative approach to deliver our story consistently to multiple audiences across many platforms. The Content Marketing Manager will report to the Director of Marketing.
What You’ll Do
Content strategy (20%)
- Work with the marketing, product, operations, and sales teams to define and set an optimal content strategy
- Plan the company’s content roadmap strategically with the rest of the marketing team
- Develop and implement creative ways to promote content to enhance marketing outcomes
Content Writing and Resource Creation (70%)
- Write all forms of content to support all marketing efforts including, but not limited to:
- Web pages
- Blog posts
- White papers
- Brochures and other collateral
- Social media posts
- Press releases
- Internal communication documents
- Presentation decks and story lines
- Articles for industry publications
- Tailor content to different audiences and wisely use targeting to make the most of communications efforts
- Strategically tell a consistent story throughout all our marketing content
Team Engagement (10%)
- Get involved with company-wide meetings and outings
- Become immersed in the payments industry
- Obtain and maintain a full understanding of our clients’ needs
What You’ll Bring to the Table
- At least 3 years of experience in content marketing or content writing
- Exceptional written communication skills combined with creativity
- Prior experience as part of a B2B marketing organization, preferably in technology/SaaS, or in a PR agency working with B2B technology companies
What We’d Love for You to Have
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior experience in brand communications
- Previous experience working for a startup
- Proven ability to generate and help distribute content and track industry awareness changes
