Content Marketing Manager

Bread is looking for a Content Marketing Manager with an editorial mind to join our fast-growing team. We are looking for a passionate self-starting team member that is excited about the rapid changes in the FinTech space and have a strong desire to help build the Bread content strategy from the ground up. This position is based in our offices in New York City and will report to the Head of Marketing.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the Bread content strategy and will be responsible for creating 1-2 pieces of original content each week
- Develop and execute on a quarterly editorial calendar that helps align marketing goals and SEO best practices with our overall message and story
- Create white papers, eBooks, and research that demonstrate thought leadership and can be used for lead gen campaigns and to generate press
- Responsible for sharing our content across all channels including online, social, and with third-party publications
- Ensure all content is on-brand and consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum 4+ years of experience writing professionally
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment
- Ability to meet deadlines and work with limited resources
- Desire to be an editor as well as a writer
- Strong cross-functional, project management skills and the ability to multi-task
- Strong attention to detail is a must
- Understanding of SEO, web analytics, and how to create content that drives traffic
- Previous experience covering either the retail, e-commerce, payment or FinTech space a plus
