BentoBox is seeking a Copywriter to join our rapidly growing team. This position will be an integral part of our marketing team and will report to our VP of Marketing. You’ll play an important role shaping the online presence of BentoBox to help grow our platform.

Responsibilities

• Write strategically across email, website, advertising, collateral, direct mail, and more
• Adopt and become an evangelist of the BentoBox brand voice and tone
• Test and measure effectiveness of copy in driving conversions across various mediums
• Effectively translate and communicate our B2B product value proposition to restaurant customers and prospects
• Work with sales team to compose prospecting emails and campaigns based on various buyer personas, to result in more clicks, opens, replies and meetings
• Produce actionable in-platform copy on an ongoing basis
• Collaborate and iterate with designers to output high-quality creative materials
• Support Sales and Customer Success team in ongoing promotions, campaigns and collateral
• Assist in the development of internal materials such as employer branding, handbooks, pitch decks, and investor materials
• Uphold BentoBox’s core mission, vision, and principles

Skills and Attributes

• 2+ years copywriting experience for a digital platform
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple initiatives at once
• Have a goal-oriented approach to all tasks and initiatives
• Strong command of grammar, usage, and mechanics
• Ability to simply communicate technical product and features in layman’s terms
• Obsessive attention to detail, especially when copy-editing and proofreading
• Passionate about improving the hospitality industry
• Experience developing email copy that drives opportunities for a sales team a bonus, but not required
