Compass is looking for a Director of Performance Marketing and Platforms. You will be build the group that drives digital marketing expertise at Compass and work with the various functional leaders in Marketing to make Compass a global leader in digital marketing and future platforms. You will be the Marketing team point of content related to advancing the Compass tools that power the future of Marketing automation including Marketing Center, Insights, and Seller Reports.

You will lead all of the innovation work around agent digital opportunities that drive performance for agent’s business and their ability to reach more clients. You will help develop systems that optimize paid performance campaigns including social, email, adwords, display networks and more. At Compass you will also manage the future of our leads systems integration in partnership with our Product and Business Systems team to understand the marketing requirements for our content management system and business intelligence platforms.

At Compass You Will:

  • Review data from all product and system reports and surface insights to help determine the best marketing actions for the company to move forward
  • Partner closely with the Product Marketing team to power campaigns that deliver commercialization of our products to our agents and potentially to outside partners in the future.
  • Own the development of requirements and workflow on all external systems with marketing dependencies and identify ways to use systems to improve workflow and department process
  • Own the relationship with Product and push the team to improve its results, partnering with the Agent Marketing leaders to assure our tools are tracking to expected performance
  • Develop studies that combine competitors research with customer segmentation reports that feed into the planning process, partnering with Product on this work
  • Work with Agent Marketing on the creation of packages and own the package performance and surface insights to constantly iterate and evolve the offering
  • Develop new tools and digital strategies that put Compass at the forefront of performance marketing
  • Develop lead generation programs across the agent and consumer facing segment
  • Develop and launch a study to establish base level of consumer brand awareness and identify and lead strategy to grow in each key market
  • Develop a quarterly trend report that addresses major shifts and trends in the marketplace
  • Develop and own the company's performance (Digital) marketing strategy and constantly improve this
  • Track and report on social paid campaigns
  • Build tracking systems to measure all promotional email by the collective agent community and identify new systems and techniques to improve delivery and tracking
  • Be the marketing point of contact for the SEO function inside the Product and Engineering team and provide guidance as a good partner
  • SEM, paid digital advertising and identifies opportunity to maximize exposure and growth

What We Look For:

  • 10+ years experience in the start-up or enterprise technology sector
  • Performance Marketing track record/experience
  • Extensive Systems knowledge particularly in lead generation and CRM
  • Extensive management experience leading cross-functional teams; change management experience is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across different audiences; ability to super-serve clients at the highest level and guiding teams to the same level of service
  • Independent, strategic thinker with operational experience
  • Ability to create and scale processes that are efficient without losing quality
  • Solutions-oriented style and positive attitude
  • Experience with budget planning and forecasting
  • Sense of responsibility and ownership in delivering quality output and building strong teams
  • Incredible organizational skills and ability to manage large amounts of projects and priorities simultaneously
  • Confident speaker who can gain buy-in from various department leaders and Executives and make decisions independently
  • MBA Preferred
