Retirable is the fastest growing retirement advice platform dedicated to providing everyday Americans with services to plan for a better future.

Professional retirement planning has long been out of reach for mass-market consumers, causing the majority of older Americans to be under-funded and under-prepared as they transition into the next phase of their lives. 72% of pre-retirees say they haven’t seen a financial plan, meaning they are missing out on income, healthcare, and lifestyle advice that can lead to less stressful and happier retirements.

We are building Retirable to remove the traditional barriers mass-market Americans have faced when trying to access professional retirement advice and best practices. We’ve thrown the traditional focus on net worth and investments out the window, and rethought the business model, product offering, and experience to ensure every pre-retiree has access to a free financial-plan and answers to their most pressing questions.

Our product principles

Who you are

We are looking for a Director of Product Growth to join our team and enhance our mission through setting a strong foundation for product-led growth. You will work with our CMO to identify strategic opportunities and prioritize tactics and collaborate closely with design and engineering to put your vision and tests in motion. We’ll look to you to own the results for our growth cycles as well as align the client experience from first-touch to churn.

You are a leader, either in previous experience or in spirit, with a seat at the table to solve some of our most difficult problems. Your insights, analysis, and intuition will help us shape our digital products and frame how we expand our business offerings. You are a natural storyteller, love perfecting digital experiences, and quickly build empathy with your end users. You get excited by rapid problem solving and are just as comfortable diving into the data as using less tangible inputs to build toward the broader vision.

Since there is no one-size-fits all approach to growth, we’re excited to hear from candidates with a diverse set of experiences and skill sets. Generally speaking,

You:

  • Are excited to join a seed-stage company on the verge of perfecting product-market fit and to work on everything from driving product-led acquisition to funnel optimization to email/sms engagement
  • Have led others to impactful decisions: cross functionally and/or as direct reports
  • Have experience building and growing product referral programs, engagement and activation programs, and trust building initiatives
  • Have built up the product intuition to prioritize new growth focused features and the marketing intuition to make them resonate with our clients
  • Have a suite of growth tools you’re fluent in, but can adapt to new platforms as needed
  • Have measurable results to share in your past experiences growing a consumer product or company (FinTech a plus, but not required)
  • Want to find the path to helping millions of Americans achieve a better financial future
