ClassPass is seeking a Director of Search Engine Marketing manager who is creative, data-driven and results-oriented. The ideal candidate is collaborative and a strong communicator. The Director of Search Marketing Manager will develop the multi-quarter strategy to grow the ClassPass business through organic and paid search marketing. This role will be responsible for all ClassPass business lines including the main studio fitness business and new and growing businesses like ClassPass Live, ClassPass GO, Gym, Wellness, Corporate and more. The candidate should be a search marketing expert with a deep passion for both search marketing and the ClassPass brand.

Responsibilities

  • Plan: Develop the long-term organic and paid search marketing strategy for ClassPass identifying the largest areas of opportunity and focus
  • Manage: Partner with the external agencies needed to achieve our objectives while ensuring quality, efficiency, and accountability
  • Build: Develop and launch the campaigns needed to grow the ClassPass customer base across the top search engines like Google, Bing, Apple Search Ads
  • Optimize: Continuously improve the efficiency of our accounts while growing acquisition
  • Tracking & Reporting: Ensure optimal attribution and provide visibility and accountability into campaign and account performance
  • Testing: Design and launch testing strategies across ad copy, bidding, and landing pages
  • Technology & Innovation: Ensure the implementation of the right tools to support continuous growth through organic and paid search across bid management, attribution, and crawling and link generation.

Requirements:

  • 7-10 years experience working hands-on with search marketing and exposure to both SEO and SEM
  • Detailed understanding of paid search bidding and keyword strategies and/or link-building and traffic acquisition
  • Experience effectively managing multiple agencies and vendors
  • Experience with landing page and conversion optimization from search
  • Experience or aptitude for leading teams to results
  • Outstanding communication skills, including strong writing abilities and proven experience in making complex subject matter accessible to a broader audience
  • A proven track record of converting marketing plans into measurable results with specific KPI’s
  • Enthusiastic self-starter with a willingness to be both strategic and hands-on
  • Flexible cross-functional team player comfortable with a fast-paced, evolving environment
