Event Marketing Manager
Attentive is looking for an ambitious Event Marketing Manager to join our team. You'll work closely alongside a team of founders who have previously built and sold a company for nine figures, giving you direct visibility into how an actual early stage start-up becomes a growing business. This role reports into the VP of Marketing.
As the first event marketing hire, you will be responsible for introducing new audiences to our brand by leading our participation at industry trade shows and creating our own proprietary event experiences.
Responsibilities include:
Planning: Proactively keep track of the events calendar and stay on top of many competing deadlines. Manage event marketing budget and continually track expenses.
Logistics: Coordinate inventory, ordering, and shipping of event-related materials. Own various vendor relationships.
Promotions: Collaborating with marketing team, lead the implementation of the pre- and
post-event promotional strategies including email & SMS marketing, social media, and
press opportunities.
On-Site Lead: Be the go-to person for all of our on-site event activations. Consider every
detail to ensure our brand is represented in the best light and that attendees have
meaningful, memorable experiences.
Measurement: Consistently track the ROI effectiveness of each event marketing activity
(leads generated, deals influenced, deals closed).
Requirements:
3-6+ years B2B marketing experience, with strong focus on event marketing
Genuine interest in mobile technology, especially its role in e-commerce
Clear, concise communicator with excellent writing skills
Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Past startup experience a plus, but
not required.
Availability to travel approximately once per month
