WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Braze is looking for an Events Manager to support global strategic accounts teams on driving pipeline and customer retention through virtual, in-person, and hybrid events to hit quarterly and annual targets.
Global Strategic Accounts (GSA) is a segment of the Braze customer base and includes a named collection of the world’s biggest brands. GSA has dedicated cross-functional resources across the Braze organization. From Marketing, the focus is pipeline development and customer experience delivery.

You'll develop and establish what it means to be part of the Global Strategic Accounts program beyond the actual Braze product and services experience.
You will collaborate across the entire marketing team, Sales, and Customer Success to build out brilliant experiences across both physical and digital properties for our customers and prospects.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead the development and execution of our marketing event strategy for global strategic accounts, consisting of both in-person, hybrid, and virtual activations, with the primary focus of generating and accelerating pipeline, and designed for audiences in North America, Latin America, EMEA, and APAC.
- Conceptualize and lead all events, including sponsoring customers’ conferences and conventions, producing exclusive/VIP experiences at industry conferences around the world, producing owned virtual customer summits, and planning smaller format regional networking events.
- Introduce new creative themes and content for event programming, including curating speaking opportunities, planning runs-of-show, and partnering with customer participants to bring their Braze success stories and brand narratives to life
- Manage event logistics, budget, and on-site coordination, when relevant
- Work with the marketing and go-to-market teams to ensure we’re hitting our audience development goals, both through marketing-owned channels, such as Marketo emails, and by enabling sales to drive attendance from their target accounts - you will ultimately be responsible for ensuring that we’re tracking appropriately to hit registration targets
- Collaborate with regional field marketers in North America, EMEA, and APAC when a unified or shared event strategy is appropriate
- Work with Braze executive leaders to plan their presence and participation in event programming
- Partner with our brand marketing team to direct them on event production and ensure the quality adheres to our brand standards
- Maintain close alignment with the Global Strategic Accounts sales leaders and their teams to understand annual account focus, structure, and goals
- Track lead flow to ensure the appropriate team members follow up with event registrants in a timely manner
- Measure ROI through metrics analysis and reporting
- Develop an event marketing management process, clearly defining roles and responsibilities and ensuring consistency across all events
WHO YOU ARE
- 4-5 years experience in event production, events marketing, B2B field marketing, or event experience in the luxury, fashion, and entertainment industries
- Experience producing high-end events at leadership conferences and/or global conferences such as CES, NRF, Shoptalk, SXSW and Cannes Lions
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills to work with and maintain long-term relationships with customers and prospects in senior roles (Directors, VPs, and C-Suite) and senior Braze leaders
- High aptitude for looking at problems as opportunities, then working with others to create unique solutions to solve them
- Experience with pipeline generation strategies and implementation
- A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to juggle multiple, demanding tasks simultaneously and with accuracy
- Ability to collaborate with other internal departments to create a positive company-wide team effort for global strategic accounts marketing programs
- Ability to manage expectations, feedback and accountability with sales leadership and account executives
- Familiarity with tech and marketing communities; familiarity with SaaS business communities a plus
- Ability to travel internationally and domestically, at least once per month
- Experience with Marketo, Bizzabo, and Salesforce is a plus
