About the Role

As an Events Marketing Manager, you will plan and execute all of Managed by Q’s hosted and sponsored events with an emphasis on driving new leads to our database. This role requires experience negotiating event sponsorships, handling events logistics, promoting attendance across channels such as social media, and generating leads through events. To succeed, you will need to be detail oriented and enjoy coordinating every aspect of events––from developing an events calendar to creating the right collateral and working with sales on post-event follow up. You are able to balance the need to attract the right audience while ensuring events are on brand and engaging.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and manage all events logistics from vendor negotiations, swag purchasing, event setup and breakdown, and lead collection
• Develop, execute, and measure all events including trade shows, conferences, client happy hours, and hosted events
• Manage and coordinate social promotion across all social media channels for events and content
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and design team for pre- and post-event logistics including emails and sales outreach
• Travel to events to provide onsite support and logistics

Qualifications:

• 2+ years in event marketing, preferably in the B2B space
• Ability to plan multiple events across various cities
• Exceptional project management and attention to detail is a must
• 10 - 20% travel required
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
