We’re looking for someone to lead our Global Creative Strategy team, partnering closely with our broader sales and marketing teams to drive comprehension of creative opportunities on Pinterest. This person will also raise the bar for creative excellence and influence revenue growth for our business. As a key function within our Global Marketing department, this diverse team of writers, designers, strategists, producers, technologists and creative directors are tasked with empowering brands, creative agencies and businesses of all sizes to bring the world’s best ideas to Pinterest and its users. You’ll manage team growth, impact and operations and serve as an industry expert on what makes great creative on Pinterest. Ideal candidates will have hybrid experience across creative, strategy, operations and business development.

What you'll do:

  • Build, lead and inspire a talented team of across North America and EMEA markets
  • Be accountable for a clear and compelling narrative to the creative community, focused on driving comprehension of the possibilities and best practices on the platform
  • Lead team operations, including project prioritization, resource allocation, budget oversight and tracking team impact towards goals
  • Directly manage a leadership team of regional and discipline-specific managers
  • Ensure the team has a strong pipeline of world-class creative examples to help show the rest of the market the way
  • Work closely with other global teams, like sales, product, insights and measurement, to set and execute against shared goals that drive meaningful impact on our business
  • Build and maintain relationships with key creative agency and brand executives
  • Present and sell creative work in high-value client meetings, using strong storytelling skills and a clear point-of-view on why it makes sense for the brand and Pinterest
     

What we're looking for: 

  • 15+ years of digital marketing experience with agency, platform or brand
  • Deep understanding of the current state of the industry, including creative agency and in-house team dynamics, the digital production ecosystem, taking a global approach to campaign development and how to localize content
  • Enthusiasm and appreciation for the importance of measuring the success of creative campaigns using internal and external measurement solutions
  • Track record of successfully managing multidisciplinary teams of 15+ people across different regions and time zones, ideally with international oversight
  • Ability to represent Pinterest at senior level at conferences and in senior-level client engagements
  • Strong portfolio of creative work that showcases ability to build and influence impactful creative across a variety of verticals and marketing objectives
